This dream has come full circle!
The story of my collaboration with Free Range Equipment really starts with a love of outdoor adventures and a desire for more colorful adventure gear. In 2009, my friend Heather and I started a blog called "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Tutus." We blogged about doing adventure sports, illustrating and photographing our adventures while traveling the west and climbing on all sorts of things while wearing tutus. Goofing around outside and rejecting the boring norms of outdoor adventure gear - that's what The Tutu Sisters first blog was all about.
Flash forward eleven years later and I run a company where I am a full-time artist and now I'm partnering with an outdoor adventure gear company that is taking my art and putting on packs and phannies to elevate your every day. I gotta tell ya, my 21-year-old, dirtbag self is grinning ear-to-ear right now and high-fiving 36-year-old me for finally making a dream come true!
Dreams do come true y'all, just keep jumping for joy!
It feels like such a natural extension to have my art on these Free Range packs and phannies. Each of these paintings has its own story and connection to an outdoor adventure, whether it's surfing on the Oregon coast, or skateboarding in Hawaii, or hiking 3 miles deep into the Opal Creek Wilderness, or, a general homage to all things Oregon sea life!
It's my hope that these packs will inspire you to tell your story and meet people along the way, bringing just a bit more fun and adventure into your every day. Get your pack at my website, click below to get one of your very own!
