Exciting Collaboration with Free Range Packs
Earlier this year I got invited to do this fun collaboration with an awesome company that makes backpacks and fanny packs for outdoor adventures. How perfect right? My inner 21-year-old, dirtbag mountain climber, surfer girl is jumping for joy!! I used to wish I could design artwork for outdoor gear and now we get to do it!
I am psyched to announce a collaboration with Free Range Equipment headquartered just down the road in Bend, Oregon. As a painter in Portland and a lifelong Oregonian, I love to surf, hike, and generally have fun outdoors and I can't wait to rock one of their packs!
I love these packs and this company! Learn more about Free Range Equipment here and watch their beautiful video of a dawn hike up Tumalo Mountain near Bend, featuring a summit performance of "Laundry Song" by the Max Twins.
My wish is that these gorgeous packs will inspire you to get outdoors, whether it's hiking in the woods, or playing in the surf, or biking around town. When you purchase a pack, 10% of my proceeds will go directly to one of my most favorite places on Earth (and namesake for one of the packs) Opal Creek Ancient Forest Center. Please remember that each pack is made-to-order and to be patient while your very own pack is being made just for you.
If you need convincing of just how much I love hiking, please enjoy this story of a hike in the Tetons, in a tutu (yes, you read that right!). And read the whole post if you want to watch us dance the Thriller at 10,700 feet!
